The memory of Opal May Kalnbach (Curtis, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Teed and Effie E. Teed (Rall); her husband Gordon Kalnbach; her siblings, John Teed, Guy Teed, Tom Teed, Steve Teed and Dorothy Hartley; and her great grandchild Lindsay Neill.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Neill of McMillan, Daryl Kalnbach (Deb) of McMillan and Glenn Kalnbach (Lisa) of McMillan; her siblings, Allen Teed of Colorado, Tim Teed (Pilar) of Lakefield, Ellen Dunn of Michigan, Ruth Finch (Frank) of Virginia and Lois Ann Teed-Gillen (Davd) of Grand Rapids; and her sisters-in-law, Sue Teed, Imogene Teed and Ruth Teed. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Curtis Baptist Church (W17066 Main Street, Curtis, MI 49820). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
