She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Kupper and Gladys Kupper; and her sister Carol Brekken (Wayne). She is survived by: her husband Jerry Smith; her children, Joe Smith, Laura Strietzel (Jamie) and Matt Smith (Beth); her grandchildren, Kevin, Rebekah, Tim Strietzel, Elliot and Lewis Smith; and her sister Debra Carlberg (Larry). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carney Evangelical Free Church (52 Church St, Carney, MI 49812). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Carney Evangelical Free Church Cemetery (52 Church St, Carney, MI 49812).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy's honor for Camper Scholarships to Lake Lundgren Bible Camp.
