She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wm and Grace; her husband Bruce S. Whitman; her brothers, Earl Showers, Martin Showers and Calvin Showers; and her sister-in-law Barb Showers.
She is survived by: her children, Margie Poston (Ronald) of Grayling, Samuel Whitman of Dansville and Julie Lance (Jeffery) of Leslie, Michigan; her grandchildren, Alex Whitman of Tampa, Dakota, Cheyanne Poston of Grayling, Jamey and Josie Lance of Leslie, Michigan; her brothers, Danny Showers and Doug Showers; and her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Peasley and Sharon Acker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
