He is survived by: his wife Lucia Thorburn (Search); his sons, Loren Thorburn (Tara) of Chelsea and Luke Thorburn of Williamston; his grandchildren, Foster, Riley, Owen, Ellie, Eston and Emerson; and his siblings, Tom Thorburn (Jeanne) of Zeeland, Bruce Thorburn (Audrey) of Dansville, Stuart Thorburn (Kathy) of Okemos, Sterling Thorburn of Lansing, Rex Thorburn of Mason and Karen Tindall of Mason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
