She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert William Jr. (Bill) and Dorothy Heiman (Kalow); her parents-in-law, Theodore and Charlotte Sternemann; her brother Bert Heiman; and her grandchildren, Shiloh and August.

She is survived by: her husband Michael Sternemann; her children, Jennifer McGinnis (Mitchell), Joseph Sternemann, Matthew Sternemann (Meghan Katner) and Jacob Sternemann (Kathy Everett); her grandchildren, Afton, Coen, Sabine, Charlotte, Magdalena, Theodore, Isaiah, Laurence, Nathaniel, Walter, Elijah and Gianna; and her siblings, John Heiman, Jim Heiman (Lynn) and Carol Onken (Lance).
