He was predeceased by: his parents, John Latzy and Mary Latzy (Horvath); his wife Judy Latzy; his sons, Michael and Bernie Latzy; and his siblings, John Latzy and Teresa Latzy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Lynch (Mike) and Paulette Reif (Mike); his daughter-in-law Emma Latzy; his grandchildren, Megan Musgraves (Zach), Tyler Lynch (Jessica) and Elizabeth De Mand (Dave); his great grandchildren, Jayden Ferguson and Copelan Lynch; and his great great grandchild Rylie De Mand. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A rosary will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (404 Dayton St, Davison, MI 48423).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus.
