He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Clayton McCarter (May), Casey McCarter and Caroline McCarter (Robert Wymer); his grandchildren, Mackenzie McCarter and Michaela McCarter; his sister Charlene Bernethy (Jim); his siblings-in-law, Charles Ferguson (Linda), Kenneth Ferguson Jr., Thomas Ferguson (Joanne), Steve Scharrer, Richard Ferguson (Susie), Ann Ferguson, Nancy Kus (Phil), Tammy Ferguson, Kathryn Ashworth and Lynne Travis (Ken); and his friend Kathy Schupp.
