She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Smith and Shirley Smith (Ruppert); and her in-laws, Francis Skinner and Esther Schafer (Erbisch). She is survived by: her husband Alan Skinner (Mike); her daughters, Erica Hunt (Jeffrey) and Kelly Skinner; her grandchildren, Alex Hunt, Lydia Hunt and Audrey Bruner; her siblings, Sharon McCarroll (Mervyn) and Clark Smith (Karen); her uncle Lester Loyer; her friends, Chris Apel and Charlotte Chimento; and her pet Charlie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Humane Society for reuniting military dogs with former handlers.
