He was predeceased by: his parents, Martillow "Tilly" Wells and Ethel Wells (Brooke); his son Mike; his brother Darrell Wells; and his in-laws, Israel and Olive White.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wells (White) of Davison; his children, Karen Goodwin (Dan) of Grand Blanc, Gary Malhado, Jr. (Cheryl) of Dimondale, MI and Susan Winkler (Chris) of Goodrich; his grandchildren, Sarah, Kay (Eddie), John, Alexis (Kristian) and Delaney; and his great grandchildren, Mack, Iva, Olive, Cruz, Archer and Eloise.
