He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy DuFresne and Lula DuFresne (Coles); his children, Michael DuFresne and Donna Richter; and his brothers, Michael DuFresne, Phillip DuFresne and Ernest DuFresne.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara DuFresne; his children, Duane DuFresne (Cathy), Bradley DuFresne, David Griffus (Luann), Dale Griffus (Karen), Belinda Pirtle (Michael) and Wendy Odykirk (Jon); and his children-in-law, John Richter and Cathy DuFresne. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Duane.
