He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Kolch and Madeline Kolch (Krankel); his wife Suzanne E. Kolch (Allen); his stepdaughters, Nicole "Nicky" Lee Palmer and Tammy Haener; his siblings, Martha Brigance (Eugene) and Frank Kolch (Marcia); and his brother-in-law Charles Melvin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy Melvin, Mary Matera (Lawrence) and Joe Kolch; and his sister-in-law Tammy Allen. He is also survived by other loving family members and good friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (404 Dayton St, Davison, MI 48423). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in Gerald's memory.
