Gerald Richards Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Richards of Davison, Michigan, who passed away on May 22, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Eunice Richards (Lang); and his sisters, Helen Ross and Beatrice Messmore. He is survived by: his father Earl Richards; his wife Barbara Hagemeister; his children, Gregg Richards (Maria), Kathy Knappe (Rick) and Suzanne Richards (Brian Lumpkin); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Oele (Josh), Mallory Hazard (Ryan), Gregg Knappe (Alyson), Garrett Knappe (Amanda) and Logan Richards (Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Liam Hazard, Owen Hazard, Emerson Knappe and Beckham Knappe. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Davison (208 E 4th St, Davison, MI 48423).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Davison, Michigan Parkinson Foundation or Residential Hospice in honor of Jerry.
