He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Uhrig and Sarah Uhrig; his stepfather Donald Summers; his brothers, Gordon Uhrig (Ernestine) and Donald Uhrig; his mother-in-law Susan Jones (Ora); his sister-in-law Mary Lee McEachern (Chuck); his grandfather-in-law Emma Wilkerson; and his niece Theresa McEachern.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Uhrig; his children, Sue Pollard (Jack) and Jerry Uhrig Jr. (Wendi); his grandchildren, Jer Uhrig III (Courtney) and Lauren Mulhern (Brian); his great grandchildren, Ashlynn Rae, Avery Clark and Adlee Rose; his siblings-in-law, Orrie Jones (Becky) and Jackie Fulton (Ron); his nieces and nephews, Shelley Berezowsky (Mike), Todd Jones (Jess), Lorrie Jones-Bedingham (John), Alyssa Steinard (Doug) and Ryan Fulton (Christina); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Travis, Allie, Nash, Jett, Smythe, Remi and Rory. He is also survived by his son, grandson, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the LaVigne Home for Compassionate Care, who provided exceptional care during his final days. Donations may be made at the service or online.
