James Vernon Weeden Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 6, 2026, at the age of 83, James Vernon Weeden of Davison, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Weeden and Dolores Weeden (Cooley); his former wife Sharron Patterson; his wife Mary Paulsen; and his grandchildren, Christopher Allen Gruno and Chloe Wirt.
He is survived by: his children, Shelley Hatfield (Don), Sharri Wirt (Don), Shani Weeden (Jeff Lundy), Christy Tafoya and Dan Weeden (Panzenhagen); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison, Hailey, Noah, Phoebe, Eli, Joey, John, Jimmie, Alexis, Adam, Sophia and Danny; his great grandchildren, Wren and Addison; and his brother Jerry Weeden (Terry). He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Music Fund.
