In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joseph's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his mother Bette Schneider (Jenkins); and his sister Kathy. He is survived by: his father Larry Schneider (Winnie) of Ormond Beach, FL; his daughter Alyssa Schneider of Dryden; his siblings, Lori Waugh of Port Orange, FL, Teresa Amman (Don) of Grand Blanc, Carrie Collins (Gary) of Fenton, Becky Doll of Englewood, FL and Jim Schneider (Ann) of Fenton; and his cousin Scott Schneider. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His final act of generosity was donating his brain and spinal column to the University of Michigan for CTE research, hoping to help future athletes.
