He was predeceased by: his parents, Ron Phillips and Gerry Phillips (McInnes); his son Jeffrey Phillips; his grandson Michael Phillips; and his close friend Dave Breaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Phillips; his daughter Shelly Brookshire (Tony); his grandchildren, Amanda Wojcik (Andrew), Kristina Gay (Dan), Kaylee Brookshire, Christopher Phillips (Kristin) and Sarah Phillips; his great grandchildren, Alivia Phillips, Aislyn Phillips, Kora Gay, Danella Gay, Anthony "Little Tiger" Wojcik and Baby Wojcik; his pet Kerbie; and his siblings, Jim Phillips (Audrey), Bob Phillips (Kathy) and Reta Johnson (Greg). He is also survived by other loving family members and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the LaVigne Home for Compassionate Care or to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, in Larry's memory.
