It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Belle (Walker) Pope of Davison, Michigan, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Walker and Novela Walker (Maples); and her brother-in-law Klaus Walter. She is survived by: her husband James Ernest Pope, Jr.; her son Steven Paul Churchill (Deb); her stepchildren, Randal Alan Pope (Rhonda) and Rhonda Faye McCormick (Pope); and her siblings, Winfred Eugene Walker (Carol), Deanna Faye Morningstar (Anthony) and Karen Kay (Daggenhausen). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, in Mae's memory.
