With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mona Kay Sliger of Davison, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Long and Siddie Long (Howlett); her grandson Scott Vandercook; and her son-in-law Daniel Richards. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Richards, Susan Simpson (Robert), Leo Sliger Jr., David Sliger (Jacqueline), Gary Sliger, Bud Sliger (Marilyn) and Bethany Sliger. She is also survived by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A prayer will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
