She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Karn and Florence Karn; her brother Rick Karn; her daughter Katie Namenye; and her husband Dave Namenye (Western University) of Michigan.
She is survived by: her sister Sue Raschke of Kalamazoo; her daughters, Kristin Cannon (Paul) and Kim Miller (Tim); and her grandchildren, Abby, Eddie, Jack, Henry Miller, Ella, John and Colt Cannon. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Debbie Louis Courage Award or Katie Namenye Memorial Fund at Trinity Lutheran Church.
