Shawn Patrick Gleason Obituary

Shawn Patrick Gleason, born on May 16, 1980, passed away on September 30, 2026. Shawn leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Patrick "Shorty" Gleason and Rise Gleason (Starry); his wife Vanessa Waun; his children, Charlotte, Emmerson, Sydney and Logan; his siblings, Shayne Gleason (Meganne) and Meghan Knies (Eric); his niece Maya; his nephews, Cole and Matthew; and his parents-in-law, Gregg and Melinda Castle. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (404 Dayton St, Davison, MI 48423).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for his daughter, Charlotte.
