She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Bishop and Jenny Bishop; and her brother David Bishop. She is survived by: her husband Gary Herner; her children, Stephanie Hunt and Jason Herner; her grandchildren, Kathryn Riley, Allison Hunt and Cameron Hunt; her great grandchildren, Isabella Herner, Jaxson, Aaliyah Riley, Sophia and Nolan Meredith; and her sister Dolores Dodds. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 9:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Richfield Church of the Nazarene (7524 E Mt Morris Rd, Otisville, MI 48463).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Side Mission in Flint or Feed My Starving Children.
