It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Demerly of Davison, Michigan, who passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Alward and Julia Alward (LaLonde); her husband Gail Demerly; her son-in-law David Lukonen; and her siblings, Louise McCann, Bob Alward, Ed Alward and Bernice Brawner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Harvey (Russell) and Denise Lukonen; her grandchildren, Nicole Cummings (Zach), Ryan Harvey (Katrina), Aaron Harvey (Sierra), Heather Brown (Ryan) and Zachary Lukonen; her great grandchildren, Addison, Cash, Wyatt, Cheyenne, Hayden, Alex and Jeramiah; and her sister JoAnn Allen. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, in Shirley's memory.
