She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Swearinger; her daughter Angela Egan Swearinger; and her siblings, Claude Powell (Geneva), Rex Powell, Freida Jester (Henry), Janet Hamilton (Peedle), Wayne Powell (Joann), Norma Doyle, Olivia Powell and Rodney Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Varani (John) and Kellie Swearinger; her siblings, Mildred Bowling (Al) and Eulonda Taylor (Shawn); her grandchildren, Joseph, Blakley, John, Justin S., Ashlee, Jason, Brandon and Roger; and her great grandchildren, Alyvia, Joecee and Avery.
