She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ellena McNeil, Wille McNeil, Sue Cable and Van Alvis; and her siblings, Carolyn Allie, Albert Alvis Jr., Eleanor Bellman and Marilyn Alvis.
She is survived by: her son Darius Alvis Sr.; her daughter-in-law Rachel; her grandson Darius Alvis Jr.; her sisters, Angela F. Sullivan, Julie Williams, Vanity Marbury, Patricia Hodges and Sylvia Walton; and her nieces and nephews, Sonja Salinas, Michelle of Washington, Anita WashingtonMadison, Charmane, Perris Alvis, Cherice, Francesca, Channel Allie, PJ, Alante, Antonio Williams, Thaddeus, Delanie Allie, Chris, Joshua and Micheal Forsythe. She is also survived by loving relatives and friends.
