He was predeceased by: his brother Nick. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Cathy Oaten (late Bill), Cynthia Toth (Mark), Cari Dingman (John), Rick (Debbie) and Lynda Burditt (Marty); his grandchildren, Rachel, Scott (Silviya), Stephanie Heidacker (Andrew), Jennifer, Robert, Jason (Shelly), Ryan, Tanya and Brad; his great grandchildren, Sophia and Dean; and his sisters, Mary Maxim, Millie, Cindy Hampton and Carolyn Walsh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Sts. Peter & Paul Romanian Orthodox Church.
