He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joniec and Jean Joniec. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Jean Joniec and Katie Rose Joniec; his granddaughter Aya Jacqueline Joniec; his sisters, Regina Swain (late John) and Linda Joniec; and his nephews, John Eric Swain and Robert Michael Swain.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Michigan Humane Society, honoring John's lifelong bond with dogs and his dedication to helping others, both human and animal alike.
