She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Waskevich and Bernice Waskevich; her siblings, Thomas, Paul, Dorothy and Mary Ann; and her sibling-in-law Mence (Mieczyslaw).
She is survived by: her sister Virginia Wright (Wes); and her children, Elizabeth Randolph (Thomas), James (Marilyn), Robert (Diane), David, Janet Berlin (Mark), Thomas, Mary Ann Hook (Craig) and William (Wendy). She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great-grand nieces and nephews.
The lying in state was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Maria Goretti Parish (3965 Merrick St, Dearborn Heights, MI 48125). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Their dancing zeal was eventually diminished by Mence's Parkinson's Disease, which led her to become his full-time caregiver until his passing on 2002.
