She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldridge LaPrairie and Orville LaPrairie. She is survived by: her husband David C. Peterson; her sons, Terry Peterson (Karen) and Eric Peterson (Shannon); and her grandchildren, Katilyn Fargo (Zach), Erik Peterson (Ashley) and Jeremy Peterson (Bree).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (22546 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48124). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the same location.
