He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Diebolt and Harriet Diebolt; and his brother Robert Diebolt (Rosemary). He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his children, Elizabeth Anderson (Scott), James (Kate) and Gregory Diebolt (Katie); his brothers, Paul (Gail) and Bryan Diebolt (Donna); and his grandchildren, Evan, Sean, Emma, Bridget, Wesley, Sylvia, Maggie and Evie.
The lying in state was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home (23701 Ford Rd, Dearborn, MI 48128). Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Divine Child (1055 Silvery Ln, Dearborn, MI 48128).
