It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erna B. Downing (Dearborn, Michigan), who passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ralph "Hop" Downing; her daughters, Debbie Goetsch (Bill) and Cindy Elliott (Chris); her grandchildren, Dianne Goetsch, Steven Goetsch (Savannah), Callie Wells (Chadwick) and Carrie Elliott; her great grandchildren, Zane and Carrick; her sister Ruth Mobius (late Ernest); and her nieces and nephews, Laurie Jackson (Henry), Judy Panizzoli (Curt) and Randy Mobius.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, the American Lung Association or to Gleaners Community Food Bank.
