He was predeceased by: his spouses, Fontella and Joan; his son Russell Mead; his sister Phoebe Mead; and his parents, Glen Sr. Mead and Mildred Mead.
He is survived by: his children, Glen Mead, III (Karen), Douglas Mead (Naomi), Scott Mead and Melissa Brown (Chip Cormany); his grandchildren, Michael, Katie, Stephanie, Jason, Glen, Ethan, Grant, Nathan, Julie, Allison and Ryan; his sister Joyce Ann Gephart (late Jake); and his daughter-in-law Sandra Mead. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
