He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Franklin Mount Sr.; his wife Juanita Mount; and his sister Gail Cremeans. He is survived by: his son Thomas Mount (Laurie) of Michigan; his stepdaughter Linda Smith of Michigan; his grandchildren, Autumn Henrick, Nathan, Joshua, Matthew, Nicholas Carolin and Katelynn Mount; and his sisters, Irene Wellman, Rusty Wilson and Peachie Langlois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
