He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Michelle Wooddell; his stepdaughters, Rene' (Jason) and Michelle (Nico); his grandchildren, Owen, Tristan, Aleksey, Sasha, Lucy and Celia; his siblings, Steve VanOoteghem (Sue), Kathy Jex (Fred), Camille VanOoteghem and Nellie Mitchell (Dave); his parents, Helen VanOoteghem (Horvat) and Hugh VanOoteghem; his wife Peggy Howe; and his pet Sophie.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Hugh do so by making a charitable donation to a charity of your choice.
