She was predeceased by: her parents, Blake McCombs and Irene Houser McCombs; her best pal Riley; her brother Douglas McCombs; her sister-in-law Darlene McCombs; and her grandson Matthew Schnell.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Almas (Greg) and Loren Schnell (Liz); her granddaughter Tara Newlon (Jason); and her children, Jessica Clarke (Sean), Daniel Young, Kimberly Young, Benjamin Schnell and Abby Schnell (Roland Nulph). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and five nieces and a nephew.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Acacia Park Cemetery (31300 Southfield Rd, Beverly Hills, MI 48025).
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to any charity that supports animals, children, literacy or the homeless.
