We announce the death of John Murray in Dearborn, Michigan, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 89. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; and his son John Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Patricia (Al); his granddaughters, Olivia and Samantha; his son Michael; his grandchildren, Kristina and Nicholas; his brother Peter; and his sister-in-law Rose.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Damiano Funeral Home (191 Franklin Ave, Long Branch, NJ 07740). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church (424 Lincoln Ave, Avon-By-The-Sea, NJ 07717).
