He is survived by: his children, Julie Sparks (Steven) and Jocelyn Bierkle (Patrick); his grandchildren, Abigail Sparks, Grahm Bierkle, Jackson Sparks and Reid Bierkle; his nephew John Barrett; and his nieces, Carolyn Lindholm, Kathy Johnson and Elizabeth Kata.
