He was predeceased by : his wife Rose Garofalo Kruse; his parents, Ann Nester and Francis Richard Kruse; and his siblings, Francis Richard Jr., John Alphonse, Thomas Michael Kruse and Mary Ann Howard.

He is survived by : his sister Margaret Mary Kruse Byars. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
