He is survived by: his parents, Fred Nietering and Audrey Nietering; his siblings, Vicki Stefan (Jan) of Roseville, MN, Alan Nietering (Donna) of Rock Hill, SC and Nancy Swift (Spencer) of Kentwood; his wife Emily; his sons, Nathaniel Nietering (Kristen) of Zeeland, Eric Nietering (Allisondra) of Valparaiso, IN and Kevin Nietering (Breanne); and his grandchild Averie of Grandville. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
