He was predeceased by: his wife Almaza; his daughter Mary; his parents, Jiries and Miriam; and his siblings, Saleh, Ibrahim, Badie, Badia and Barakeh.
He is survived by: his children, Hisham, Wael (Gabriella), Maher (Stacy) and Zuher (late Teresa); his grandchildren, Lina, Alia, Jordan, Jake, Maria, Matthew and Joseph; and his sister Karimeh Kawaja. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Fred Wood Funeral Home (36100 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). A prayer was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Basilica (18200 Merriman Rd, Livonia, MI 48152).
