She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Koszalka; and her parents, Pawel Kusmierz and Katherine Kusmierz. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Abbasi (Tehsin) and Maria Koszalka (Charles "Chuck" Niebylski); her grandchildren, Sofia, Sara, Max and Juliet; and her siblings, Maria Pietreszek, Krystina Flis and Jan Kusmierz.
