He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his children, Carol Kylene Rivard, Robert Gary Brainard Jr. John, Edward Charles Brainard, David Brainard and Sarah Michelle Faulk; his grandchildren, Allayha Mae Griggs, Makayla Delores McCullough, Haley Loretta Dodds, Gwendolyn Dianne Brainard and Abigail Quinn Brainard; his great grandchild Mia Josephine; and his brother Charles Leonard Brainard.
