He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Goodart; his parents, Harvey Leroy and Agnes Cecilia Goodart; and his brother James Goodart. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Leroy Goodart Jr., Linda Gartner (Fred) and David Goodart; his grandchildren, Shawn Clinton (Jeanne), Rachel Kowalczik (Michael), Michael Goodart (Sofia) and Kelly (Jesse); his great grandchildren, Summer Keys, Wyatt Kowalczik, Grayson Kowalczik, Leo Goodart, Lorelei and Adelaide; his siblings, Tyrone Goodart (Beverly) and Beverly Bishop (late Charles); and his sister-in-law Mary Goodart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Home - Brownstown (23700 West Rd, Brownstown Charter Twp, MI 48183). The lying in state was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church (21892 Gudith Rd, Woodhaven, MI 48183). A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
