Arlene Baartman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Baartman of Decatur, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parent Emily Bell (Simanek); her husband Arie Baartman, Sr.; her siblings, James Bell, Robert Bell, Elizabeth Bus and Diana VanVoorst; her nephew Michael VanVoorst; and her niece Vicki Lumsden.

She is survived by : her son Arie Baatrman (Carrie). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Decatur Bible Church, American Heart or Cancer Association, or to the family, in care of Arie Baartman.
