With sadness, we share the passing of Evelyn Ruth Rasmussen of Decatur, Michigan. Evelyn, born on March 2, 1943, passed away on June 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Rice and Marie Rice (Pillars); her husband Harry Rasmussen; and her sister Betty Rice. She is survived by: her son Chas Vermeulen; her grandchildren, Ruth Ann Vermeulen, Michael Vermeulen and Keagan Baker-Vermeulen; her great grandchild Anastasia Vermeulen; and her siblings, Susan Clay (Randy), Michael Rice (Laura), Tom Rice (Cappi), Stitch, Lizzy, Zoey and Boo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
