He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Chamness and Marion Case; and his siblings, Paul, Joe and Judy.

He is survived by : his son Charles Chenault; his grandson Brendan Green-Chenault; and his brother Charles "Chuck" Chamness (late Joan). He is also survived by extended family and friends.

Memorial contributions in Kirk's name can be given to the Webster Memorial Library, 200 N. Phelps St., Decatur, MI 49045.
