He is survived by: his significant other Patti; his significant other's children, David Wenger (Megan) and Lori Weller (Marc); his great grandchild Mia Olmos; his brothers, Jim Stanek (Mar) and Bill Stanek (Carolyn); his sister-in-law Jo Stanek (Lorraine Stanek); his nieces and nephews, Sherri Whiteford (Matt), Carri Hammers (Aaron), Sandy Bell (Tim), Tanja Reding (Shawn), Vanessa Rupert (Chris), Jason Stanek and J. Orion Stanek; his grandchildren, Allison Whiteford, Hannah Whiteford, Joshua Whiteford, Grace Hammers and Paige Hammers; his great grandchild Jo Stanek; his close friends, Fred Reeder and Phil VanderGeest; Brittney Olmos (Matt), Bella Wenger, Harper Wenger, Henry Weller, Cole Weller, Maggie Weller and Keshawn Russell. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Newell Chapel (83313 M-51, Decatur, MI 49045). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
