We bid farewell to Duane F. Marquardt of Deckerville, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 4, 2026 at the age of 77. Duane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Marquardt and Irene Marquardt (Schneider); and his brothers-in-law, Dale Gabara, Kevin Martin and Ronald Hooper.
He is survived by: his wife Barb; his sons, Derek (Laurie) and Brent (Lori); his sisters, Judi Martin and Sheryl Hooper (Gabara); and his grandchildren, Claire, Drew, Allie Marquardt, Jamie, Josh and Jacob Wright. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Duane would encourage everyone to enjoy a drink at "Beer:30" in the afternoon with your loved ones. Otherwise, donations may be made in Duane's name to an organization of your choice.
