As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Harter and Mary Harter (Merkler); and his sisters, Doris Coon, Kathleen Gerber and Mary Ann Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Peruski; his sons, Gregory (Salina) and Jeffery (Jill); and his sister Carol Rose (Don).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (1801 Palms Rd, Palms, MI 48465). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be given to Downing Cemetery.
