We bid farewell to Robert R. Tanton Sr. of Deckerville, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 11, 2025 at the age of 85. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Tanton and Alice Brown (Dasharion); his wife Gayle; his children, Robert Jr. and Cheryl; and his brother Richard.
He is survived by: his son Chris; and his grandchildren, Lea Porkop, Kyle Tanton, Torrey Tanton and Annmarie Tanton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Apsey Funeral Home (3467 Main St, Deckerville, MI 48427). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Sanilac Right to Life.
