We bid farewell to James E. DeCocker of Deerfield, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 12, 2025 at the age of 81. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gomar DeCocker and Catherine DeCocker (Iott); his sister Margaret DeCocker; and his brothers-in-law, Joe West and John Kastel.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Gomar DeCocker, Lucy Pirolli (Brian), Laura DeCocker (Kevin), Elizabeth Dornbusch (Mark), Heather Koulchar (Tony) and Julie Lievens (Brent); and his siblings, John DeCocker (Jeanne), Anne West, Monica Kastel, Christina Freer (Phil) and Jeanne DeCocker (Ken). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
